Whatever we go through in life that is bad or difficult can make us its captive, or we can say, “God let me go through that so I could learn from it and help others who have the same problem.”

The very opposite of sin is not forgiveness.

Sins and trials damage our souls so that we need healing after we’re forgiven. But the opposite of sin is not healing either.

We need to fully understand what happened to us so we can use that knowledge to minister to and strengthen others.

The area of your success is your ministry. And the area of your failure that you have overcome is your ministry.
